Honest Book Review: Five Feet Apart
You guys, this book made me laugh. It made me cry. Most of all, it made me feel things and experience the highs and lows of the story in the most vivid way. Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott with Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis tells the story of two teenagers diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a hereditary disease that can dramatically affect the lungs and digestive system. I really loved the book and wanted to share a little bit about why. Also, the movie is out in theaters now so be sure to check that out, too! Disclaimer: I do not have Cystic Fibrosis, and I 100% understand that there…

Meeting Morgan Matson & Siobhan Vivian + Book Reviews!
This week, I had the opportunity to attend an author meet-and-greet plus book signing while Morgan Matson, one of my favorite authors, was on tour for her new book, Save the Date. As a bonus, the event I attended had another author I love, Siobhan Vivian, who was promoting her newest book Stay Sweet. While I have always loved reading, I’ve never been able to meet the author of a book I love, ask questions, or get a book signed in person. I could not have been more happy with how the event turned out and though it would be nice to recap it on the blog, as well as share a short review…

My old summer favorites reflect the sunshine through vivid characters, sweet moments, and overall just happy stories. This past weekend at the beach for Memorial Day, I re-devoured this one.…

Alright, friends. It is currently 11:30pm, I just finished reading this book, and I am beaming. I’m sitting in my room grinning because I loved this book. Simon VS The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, is absolutely amazing. I posted a snapshot of the book over on my Instagram story and SO MANY of you asked me about it and said you were interested. Here are my thoughts on the book as well as five reasons to check it out today. Goodreads Summary: Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at…

Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone || Book Review
Last week, I stayed up until 3 a.m. reading this absolute gem of a book. Every Last Word is a witty, real, vivid story and I loved it. Exploring the ways we think, feel, and show our authentic selves, the characters in this story captured my heart. Parts of the story were raw, relatable, and crushing. There were moments where you soared along with the characters. The biggest thing I can tell you about this book? The instant I finished it, I wanted to restart it all over again. If you’re looking for more book recommendations, check out the 8 books I’m most excited for in 2018 post I shared last…
