Summer Bucket List & June Goals
May was a crazy month (sorry for the lack of blog posts). June is finally here, and I couldn’t be more excited for summer time. I’m writing this from my balcony overlooking the bay, and currently am daydreaming about looking for shells tomorrow. While I love pieces of every season, summer is my all-time favorite. I can’t wait to spend time with my family, on the beach, soaking up sunshine, reading, and going on new adventures. Today I’m sharing my summer bucket list and the goals I have for June 2018.

Summer Bucket List
As I complete summer bucket list items this year, I’ll be putting them in bold so you can follow along! Let me know what’s on your bucket list down below. I’m always looking for inspiration.
Watch the sunrise more often.
Try making some shell art.
Work on my writing.
Go for walks.
Try a new restaurant.
Go to a farmer’s market.
Learn to braid my hair.
Kayak.
Blog consistently.
Go to the movies.
Take a spontaneous adventure.
Do a beach weekend with a friend.
Bake.
Make homemade ice cream.
Read ALL the books. (Not really, but I have quite a list).
Research grad school opportunities.
Have a beach picnic for dinner one night.
Eat s’mores & have a bonfire.
Go on a boat.
Be positive & confident, even when it’s hard.
Go swimming at night.
June Goals
Post consistently on the blog at least 2x per week.
I am passionate about this blog and want to post more consistently, as well as create content that you all want to see!
Work on writing every day.
Whether it be through journaling or working on a story, I want to make sure that I flex that creative side of myself every day.
Cook more meals.
When Lindsay and I move down to the beach for the summer, we have a bad habit of eating out–a lot. My mom and I did a massive grocery trip recently to stock up, so I think this goal is definitely attainable!
Read all of the library books I checked out.
I went a little overboard the last time I went to the library, but I am excited about all of the books I have on my shelf. Hopefully I can finish them all by the end of this month!
PS: Do you like the format of my full book reviews? Would you rather see mini-reviews all compiled together? Let me know in the comments.
Thank you for reading!

I love your bucket list, especially having a beach picnic! I think I am going to create mine own now! I love writing down goals because it makes me more accountable to them. Great post!
Kaitlin
Thank you so much, Alyssa! If you do make one please let me know; I’d love to hear your ideas! I find that I do so much better on even remembering my goals and making an effort to achieve them if I have them written down, and especially if I put them on the blog—it holds me accountable! Thank you 🙂

O so do you have a shore house? That’s so fun!
Kaitlin
Hi Rebecca! Yes, my family has a place at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland! The dream is to move to Florida one day where it’s beach weather all year. Thanks for reading!

I’ve been on vacation for the past week and I was so happy that I actually got up early and saw the sunrise! It was beautiful and so peaceful in the morning. I also really want to go to the farmers market near me this summer. This is such a fun bucket list!
Kaitlin
Oh my gosh, I’m so happy you got to see the sunrise! It’s hard getting up (I work nights in the summer at an ice cream shop until after midnight) but it’s so worth it! And yes–farmer’s markets are so much fun. We always stock up on produce and then have fruit and such for the rest of the week! Thanks for reading, Megan!
