Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone || Book Review
Last week, I stayed up until 3 a.m. reading this absolute gem of a book. Every Last Word is a witty, real, vivid story and I loved it. Exploring the ways we think, feel, and show our authentic selves, the characters in this story captured my heart. Parts of the story were raw, relatable, and crushing. There were moments where you soared along with the characters. The biggest thing I can tell you about this book? The instant I finished it, I wanted to restart it all over again. If you’re looking for more book recommendations, check out the 8 books I’m most excited for in 2018 post I shared last…

The Selection by Kiera Cass: Review
Since coming home for winter break, I have found such renewed joy in reading. I know this sounds strange, especially since anyone who knows me is very conscious of my lifelong passion and love for reading. Since going to college, I haven’t read any books for fun. I’ve read a ton in general-textbooks, novels, case studies-but not the books and stories I adore. The Selection by Kiera Cass is one of my favorite books and I decided to re-read it, and finally had time to read the entire 5-book series. Let me tell you, I’m in love. Naturally I thought it would be a great time to tell you about the…

Summer Reads: 2017 (So Far)
Summer is flying by faster than I ever imagined. Soon enough, I’ll be entering the whirlwind of my freshman year of college. The summer spent living and working at the beach will be a distant, lovable memory as I get into the swing of things at school. With this in mind, it’s the perfect time to recap the books I’ve read so far this summer. My go-to summer reads are books that make me laugh, cry, and jump for joy. The best summer reads have happy endings and make you feel a renewed joy for life! I never got into doing a specific reading challenge/goal for 2017, but I do…

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
With my toes in the sand and my heart falling quickly in love with the characters and writing, I breezed through this book. Alex, Approximately, by Jenn Bennett is a warm, sunny read that has so much more depth than I expected. I absolutely can’t wait to reread the story, and those books that I instantly want to dive back into are the ones that I carry near and dear to my heart. Sometimes, I tend to be picky about romance stories, especially ones that I go into knowing nothing about, and this one surpassed my expectations. Goodreads Description: The one guy Bailey Rydell can’t stand is actually the boy of…
